The Concurrent Engineering (CE) approach is successfully used for the programming of activities execution in projects for Aerospace and Industrial manufacturing, achieving significant reductions in overall execution time. Moreover, in the Oil and Gas (O&G) projects is generally applied the sequential execution approach for programming the activities required for the Conceptual Engineering, FEED and EPC. Hence, let’s try to apply in O & G projects the CE approach instead of sequential for planning the key activities. Therefore, considering all the above, arise in principle the following questions: What criteria should be considered for the proper implementation of CE in O&G projects? What are the main requirements? This bloc aims to discuss on the above questions and additional ones, exchange of experiences and results, and also sharing literature related to this topic.
